Styles
The style of any home is usually the first thing that attracts prospective homeowners.
(Within our industry, this is often referred to as a home's "elevation".) At PDC,
we take great pride in our range and depth of styles available. It is our intent
to make each home unique, meeting the desires of each homeowner without confining
them to a narrow, regimented set of specifications often found in our industry.
To guide homeowners through this journey of selection, we have divided our styles
into several categories detailed below. For additional examples of a these styles,

Conventional
|
Conventional styled homes are often defined in ways that can often be specific to
a time period or a locale. Examples include "Cape Cod", "Saltbox", "Farmhouse",
"Victorian", "Bungalow", "Rambling Ranch", etc. Our Conventional styled homes include
many of these design characteristics, but represent current design elements such
as: side lights with front doors, raised panel shutters, shiplap vinyl siding, window
trim with headers, etc. |

Craftsman
|
During 2003 Tim Pelton introduced unique styles based on historic designs incorporating
Craftsman, Prairie, and Shaker design details, but continuing to use modern space
planning concepts (in lieu of the tiny rooms prevalent in those original designs).
This style merges those historic designs along with "Arts & Crafts" elements
into what we now call our Craftsman style homes. The Craftsman style can be applied
to colonial, cape cod and ranch floor plans as an upgrade from Conventional style.
Please browse through further definitions of Craftsman for additional details of
this exciting style. |

Custom
|
Custom style homes need little if any definition. The Custom home can be a major
modification of an existing style, part of a floor plan obtained from a book or
another architect, or your dream house drawn on a napkin. Each one is unique, but
the style is often dictated by the wishes of the homeowner. |

Cluster
|
Beginning in 2005, PDC began offering Cluster Homes in different neighborhoods.
Cluster Homes are single-family homes, not condominiums, that may be attached to
one or more other Cluster Homes or detached as a stand-alone dwelling. The floor
plans may include Ranches, First Floor Masters, and Colonials, with two or three
bedrooms. Each model included standard and optional features. The Cluster Homes
in each neighborhood are specifically designed and priced for that neighborhood.

beautifully appointed Craftsman-styled home featuring open floor plans and classic
standard features. Unlike many cluster home communities, Falcon Pointe offers six
distinct models, each allowing you to choose from among three or four front elevation
